Anyone who knows me personally knows that I'm a social network hermit. Facebook, livejournal, twitter, etc: I avoid them all. Which inevitably leads me to disappear for long periods only to need to explain myself later in the unlikely event someone was missing my work ^_^

Anyway, for the past two months, I haven't had the time to put pencil and paper together, let alone prep something for posting. The following are the reasons: Had to plan a wedding, got married, disappeared for a honeymoon, had to arrange documents to buy a house, bought a house, currently in the process of moving into a house, trying to get a steady job working in the schools, and keeping up with the changing requirements of my current job. Heck, I made a rather neat cake for my birthday in July and I haven't been able to prep the pics to post it (grrr...).

I don't look for sympathy; heck, I'm lucky to have a job. But not being able to spend time doing something that gives you joy can wear away at you. I have such a glut of ideas, comics, characters, and art experiments that I'd have to make a list just to prevent my pencil from giving up in indecision. I can only hope that with the house set up and my current prospects explored that things will calm down a bit and I can get back to doing what I enjoy most: drawing and maybe the rare occasion when I produce something worth posting for feedback.

I can't be productive on sleepless nights: To tired to brain, not tired enough to sleep. And so I update. Enjoy until next month ^_^
